ARABIAN WINE AND ANCIENT
CHARM
In the last century, the "Arabian wine" reached the tables of Montefeltro: Antonio Pascucci, head of the family, imported
the "Exotic aroma" into the Conca valley and gave rise to a passion destined to be handed own in time from father to son.
Mario Pascucci in the early 20's successfully experimented
the roasting of coffee beans in tin pots... a new aroma, reminiscent of far away lands, invaded the districts of Montecerignone,
an ancient citadel of the Montefeltro Family, a new flavor enriched a centuries-old tradition of regional tastes.
Montecerignone,
the Land of the Duke, gave rise to an authentic roasting industry in the early 50's: Pascucci coffee has become an institution.

Varieties: The most diffused coffee species grown are Coffea Arabica
and Coffea Robusta. The Arabian species gives fine varieties with lots of aroma and excellent taste: Santos, San Domingo,
Mocha, Haiti. The Robusta species on the other hand gives a variety which is very tough such as Angola, Costa Oro, Congo,
Indonesia...
